On January 31, 2026, ๐—Ÿ๐—ฒ๐—ผ๐—ป๐—ฒ๐—น ๐—ฆ. ๐—™๐—น๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐˜€, ๐—ฃ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐—ท๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐˜ ๐—›๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ฑ of ๐—ฃ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐—ท๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐˜ ๐—ง๐˜‚๐—ด๐—ฑ๐—ผ, conducted a comprehensive orientation at DFVMNHS, Brgy. Cabadiangan, Himamaylan City. The session was designed to introduce students, faculty and community stakeholders to Project Tugdo, its goals and its impact on the community.



During the orientation, Mr. Flores provided a clear overview of the project, explaining its background, vision, mission and core objectives. He described Project Tugdo as a community-driven initiative focused on youth empowerment, leadership development and sustainable local development. Participants learned how the project serves as a platform for collaboration, personal growth and meaningful community engagement.

The orientation also underscored ๐—ฃ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐—ท๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐˜ ๐—ง๐˜‚๐—ด๐—ฑ๐—ผ’๐˜€ specific role in Brgy. Cabadiangan, emphasizing its contribution to productivity, empowerment and community development. Mr. Flores detailed the projectโ€™s objectives, including encouraging active youth participation, fostering leadership skills and supporting community initiatives that create lasting benefits for both participants and the wider community.

Students and attendees were guided on how to apply the principles and skills gained from the project in their daily lives, particularly during off-season periods. Mr. Flores emphasized maximizing available resources, practicing entrepreneurial thinking and integrating project-related activities into routine tasks to maintain productivity and personal development.

Additionally, practical strategies for generating income through the project were discussed. Participants learned about small-scale livelihood opportunities, proper resource management and the importance of reinvestment to ensure long-term sustainability.
