On April 10, 2026, international support was extended to the Bangkat Family, who were affected by a fire that struck Hidden Annie, Barangay Hilamonan, Kabankalan City on the afternoon, 1:00 pm of April 7, 2026.
The victim family was left with nothing but ashes, as all of their belongings were completely lost in the blaze. To support them and lightly ease the burden, a collaborative effort was initiated to provide immediate supportโblankets and clothing are some of the delivered essentials.
The goods was delivered through the collaborative efforts of the Hope Builders Organization Negros Island Inc. (HBONI) and Brigada News FM Kabankalan.
The organization emphasized the importance of partnerships between international supporters and local groups in providing timely and meaningful help to communities in need.
