The Hope Builders Organization Negros Island Inc., in partnership with the Philippine Army’s 94th Infantry Battalion, Brigada News FM Kabankalan, and Copy x Space Co-Working, conducted a relief operation and community clean-up drive at Don Benito Lopez Elementary School (DBLES), Hacienda Antolanga, Isabela, Negros Occidental, Barangay Tinongan on November 30, 2025.



A total of 150 students of DBLES, together with their parents, received food packs, bottled water, and loaf bread. The relief goods were sponsored by the Zakat Foundation of America and TAHA Foundation PH, whose support made the initiative possible amid ongoing challenges faced by the DBLES community.

Beyond distribution of assistance, the event also emphasized community engagement and bayanihan spirit. Residents, teachers, parents, soldiers, and partner organization volunteers worked hand in hand in a clean-up drive across the school grounds. The activity aimed to provide students with a safer and more conducive learning environment as classes continue.



Hope Builders Organization Negros Island Inc. expressed gratitude to its partners for extending their resources and manpower to ensure the success of the event. The organization highlighted that the collaboration showcased the strength of community partnerships in delivering not only immediate assistance but also long-term support for DBLES.



DBLES community also thanked the groups for their efforts in helping the school. “Madamo gid nga salamat sa inyo (partners and volunteers) for bringing services and help diri sa eskwelahan”, Waren Geronca the DBLES school head said.
