Hope Builders Organization Negros Island Inc. (HBONI) conducted its 5th relief operation on November 22, 2025, in Canlaon City, Negros Oriental extending assistance to residents of Barangay Pula, Panubigan, and Linuthangan who were heavily affected by the recent typhoon.

More than 700 residents received food packs, water, clothes, and Brigada Products, including Power Cells Salabat, Power Cells Soya Coffee, Maxan 8-in-1 Coffee, YummyVit ES3, Guard C-Plus, and Fast Relax. These basic necessities were distributed to help families still coping with the severe damage brought by the calamity.

The relief effort was made possible through the support of Brigada News FM stations in Bacolod, Kabankalan, San Carlos, Bogo, Toledo, and Dumaguete, along with additional assistance from Brigada News FM Mati, Mindanao, Iligan, and Dipolog. Members of the 94th and 62nd Infantry Battalion also provided manpower and security during the operation.

Residents shared how the typhoon caused large rocks from Mt. Kanlaon to crash into their communities, destroying homes and leaving many families devastated.

As recovery continues, HBONI and its partners emphasize the need for ongoing support from organizations, donors, and the wider public to help affected families rebuild their lives and communities.
