More than 80 affected residents received essential relief assistance on November 15, 2025, at Brgy. Cabacungan, La Castellana, Negros Occidental, through a coordinated effort led by the Hope Builders Organization Negros Island Inc. (HBONI), Brigada News FM Kabankalan, the 94th Infantry Battalion, L.N. Agustin Farms Inc., the Little Hummingbirds in Action Foundation, JazAmazing Journey, and other committed partners.


The relief operation aimed to ease the burden of families who continue to face difficulties following recent calamity. Residents received food packs, water, clothes, hygiene kits, and other essential supplies. JazAmazing Journey made major contributions by providing water, clothing, hygiene kits, and additional basic necessities to support affected households.



First aid volunteers from La Carlota City further strengthened the mission by offering onsite medical assistance. They checked blood pressure, cleaned wounds, and attended to minor injuries of residents with limited access to healthcare.

Community members expressed their gratitude to all organizations and volunteers who extended help, emphasizing that this united effort plays a vital role in the ongoing recovery of Brgy. Cabacungan and the wider municipality of La Castellana.
