HBONI-Victorias Chapter, in collaboration with NPSG Villa Victorias, made a significant impact during Linggo ng Kabataan 2025 by actively participating in a mangrove tree planting initiative held on August 23, 2025.

This event aimed to inspire youth to embrace environmental stewardship. It also sought to strengthen community involvement in climate action and coastal protection efforts.

The activity was led by the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) federation of northern Negros City, aimed at building sustainable communities through mangrove tree planting.

This event highlighted the vital role of mangroves as natural barriers against storm surges. They serve as habitats for marine life. Mangroves also contribute to mitigating climate change.

NPSG Villa Victorias, under the leadership of Ma’am Merher Parcon, demonstrated their commitment to supporting programs. These programs focus on promoting environmental conservation. They also emphasize youth empowerment.

Members joined fellow youth volunteers in planting mangrove propagules along the coastal area of the city.*
