Central Philippines State University (CPSU) student leaders gathered for the Paghanas 2025: Leadership Training and Workshop held on August 22, 2025, at the Accreditation Center of CPSU Main Campus.

With the theme “Emerging Leaders, Empowering Student Voices,” the event aimed to strengthen the capacity of Cenphilian student leaders by equipping them with essential skills in communication, parliamentary procedure, and servant leadership.

Guest speaker Ms. Andrelyn E. Bello, a Hope Builder and leadership advocate, discussed “Communicate with Impact: Merging Effectiveness and Empathy for Meaningful Connections.” She shared practical strategies on empathy-driven communication and the use of media platforms to build meaningful connections.

Meanwhile, Dr. Rosemarie P. Gallardo, CPSU faculty member and parliamentarian, provided participants with practical knowledge on parliamentary procedure—highlighting its importance in ensuring order, fairness, and transparency in organizational leadership.

The activity was organized by the Office of Student Services and Affairs (OSSA) in collaboration with the Supreme Student Government (SSG) as part of CPSU’s continuing commitment to develop servant leaders who embody collaboration, courage, and service.

Student participants said they left the training inspired, empowered, and more confident to raise the voices of their fellow Cenphilians while driving positive change in their organizations and communities.*
