Hope Builders Organization Negros Island Inc. (HBONI) gained recognition from the Association of Negros Producers Inc. (ANP) on May 30, 2025, during the 32nd Bulawan Design and Innovative Food Competition, the 3rd Pilak Award, and the 2nd Balik-Salig Crafts Competition and Mindful Living. The event was held at SM Bacolod, Negros Occidental.

Through HBONI’s dedication and commitment to fostering community unity and goodwill, the ANP expressed appreciation to the organization for the invaluable support rendered in the implementation of Balik-Salig, a sustained skills and entrepreneurial intervention program in the far-flung communities of Negros Occidental.

The 2nd Balik-Salig Awards Competition aims to recognize excellence and promote trade in the geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas of the province.

It also serves as a platform for artisans to showcase their products and achievements.

HBONI has partnered with ANP since 2022 on Project Tikang in the Madaja community in Himamaylan City. This project is a collaborative initiative launched to empower the local community through education, infrastructure development, and sustainable programs.*
